Nepal, November 2012. The city of Kathmandu felt like a different world for urban-dwellers like me. The city road and pedestrian walkways were lain with rocks and pebbles, occasionally obstructed by heaps of bricks and boulders. Potholes that were enlarged over the years simulated a roller-coaster ride on motobikes or four-wheel drives. Durbar Squares are the city and town’s main district of shopping, it was an area filled with colors and life.
