Sri Lanka, November 2014. The Galle Fort is located in the southwest coast of Sri Lanka and it was previously occupied by the Portuguese and then by the Dutch. What was a strategic installation in the 16th century is today a place where locals and travelers watch a beautiful sunset.
The Galle Fort can be reached in about 2 hours via public buses from Colombo.
